ELEMENTALs are considered to be nature spirits.
There are a lot of mythology and folklore around the subject of elementals, often going into great detail about them. I'm not sure that amount of detail is really necessary myself.
A simple answer would be that elementals are intelligent, self-aware entities made from the essence of one the main elements of life, earth, air fire and water.
Some sources consider them to be of a completely different 'race' to humans. I think they may belong to the angelic realms as they aren't of the physical world, or the spirit of someone who has passed from it. I've spent time giving this subject some consideration and I believe that the angelic hierarchy exist at a more advanced level of consciousness, beyond the spirit world and consists of Elementals, Devas, Angels and Archangels, each with advancing consciousness.
Elementals are invoked for magical purposes and protection rituals and are most traditionally one of the following:
gnomes (earth), undines (water), salamanders (fire), sylphs (air)
Some sources also list, pixies, fairies and elves as elementals.
There are also nature spirits called nymphs, often classed in the same category as elementals, but actually considered to be slightly different. While elementals are the essence of an element, a nymph is the spirit of something. Examples of nymphs are dryads, and naiads. Dryads are tree spirits, each tree has its own spirit, or each dryad has its own tree to care for. Naiads are spirits of freshwater.
Existing above the elementals and nymphs, at a higher evolved consciousness are devas. Whereas a dryad would be considered the spirit of a tree, its deva would be the guardian of the entire forest - almost like a team leader I suppose. Other devas protect sacred sites, mountain ranges, shrines, and places with magical or mystical qualities.
While some people claim to be able to see elementals, I do wonder, if it is simply a way for us to translate the energy, or life essence that runs through nature when we are aware of it, or a way for the power of nature to make itself known to us. As humans we can't always put into words what we feel, so we need a way to make sense of it all, and in ancient times, stories were the way this was done. Stories used to describe nature's essence may have become mythology over time and now that is how some expect to see the energy, so they do. Just a thought. Or maybe elementals do exist and are hiding out in our very gardens, ponds, forests and streams.

Development Group Or a Circle Is This The Best Way To Access Free Psychic Development

I receive many emails and messages from individuals, often on a daily basis, asking for help with their psychic development. Unfortunately I cannot respond to, or work with every person that contacts me, I just don't have the time, but the whole point of my work is to help you to help yourselves.
My articles are my way of being available to as many people as possible; to help empower, encourage, educate and inform people as to how to develop their psychic, intuitive, and spiritual side.
I have to say that I am slightly disturbed when people say that they need things to help them develop, such as crystals, or that they can't afford to help themselves develop.
When I first started on my psychic development journey I was 13 years old and I had no money. I spent hours in the library, and there are a lot more books and resources available now than there were back then. Now we have the internet, eBooks, online courses and a whole lot more. I started with some library books, a secondhand set of tarot cards (which I still have and love because they were my mum's) and a makeshift dowsing pendulum, until I managed to get one at a psychic fair that my mum took me to when I was 14.
It was a huge investment for me of £3.
It was only later when I was working that I could start to buy crystals, books and courses, but the majority of my work still consisted of free psychic development exercises.
Working In A Development Group Or Circle Is The Best Way To Access Free Psychic Development
It's wonderful to find a group of people to work with, courses, workshops etc. but you can do this on your own. Many times I went on courses or workshops on my own, without knowing anyone else there, or what to expect. When I did find a development group it was the end of 2001, I'd been working on my own for at least 13 years. We met in each others' houses. We committed our time, we worked, laughed and cried together, and we became a family, but it didn't cost us anything. Quite the contrary it was priceless. You couldn't buy what we had (and still have).
Yes, you can spend money on your psychic development, but you don't have to. By the way, I'm a firm believer that any time or money invested in yourself on personal, spiritual or other development is well worth it.
There are many low cost and free ways to develop your psychic and intuitive skills, you do not need money to become more psychic.
Here are my top tips for free Psychic development.
Read up on the basics: Protection & the basics of healing.
Learn to dowse- it's easy and you can use anything, a ring on a piece of string or chain, I can dowse with a polo mint on a piece of thread!
Meditate - it's as simple as sitting still and counting your breath in for four, hold, our for four - for about 10 -20 mins.
Talk to people, make discreet inquiries, you just never know who might be interested in the same thing as you, and might be interested in working with you.
Connect with people of like-mind on Facebook groups and forums (but please be aware of the risks befriending strangers and take extra precautions if you plan to meet up).
Start your own group or development circle.
Visit your local spiritualist church, they often have free events, healing nights, medium demonstrations and circles.

Contacting Your Guide Doesn't Happen Over Night!

A common query or concern for people interested in their psychic development is about contacting their spirit guide. They often get frustrated when it doesn't happen after one meditation, or even after a few attempts at making contact with them.
Contacting your guide doesn't happen over night. It can take many attempts and years of practice for some people. Others still don't know who their guides are, but they still manage to work psychically and often to do platform work as mediums quite successfully.
I worked consistently for a number of years, including meditating for years while 'seeing' nothing at all, before I began to see things in mind's eye, or making contact with my guides. I started working on my own when I was about 14 and made contact with my first one when I was around the age of 23 while I was on a Reiki course.
Maybe people are too used to having things instantly today, or getting a quick fix. You can't, it doesn't work like that.
Anyway, connecting with your spirit guide is not absolutely essential. In some endeavours it makes spirit communication a little easier but there is plenty you can do without them.
Maybe people think their spirit guide will tell them what to do, or give them a shortcut, or magic word and that will deliver everything they wish. They won't, it doesn't work like that.
Once you have the basics in place (protection, opening, closing & grounding) I would suggest an all rounded approach to your spiritual and psychic development: working with lots of different subjects to find what you are good at, or drawn to. Include some work to contact your spirit guide but don't make it the primary focus or you will get frustrated if you can't do it.
TOP TIPS FOR CONTACTING YOUR SPIRIT GUIDES:
If you are focussing on your spirit guide, and not having contact with them you will block your own flow of energy, and development. Relax!
Accept that your guides will be there without the need for proof or contact.
Talk to them anyway and thank them for their help.
Meditate regularly.
Ask them to be near and to communicate with you.
Be open minded and look out for signs that they are around - for example meaningful coincidences, repeat symbols, unusual sounds, white feathers.
Try dowsing to open up the lines of communication with them
Enjoy what you learn along the way, and in time, with practice and patience you may well get to see, feel, or speak with your spirit guide. And if you don't you will have learnt a lot and developed your skills regardless, and as a result you will be rewarded in many other ways.

Very simply? It's the use of repetition, through usage of a phrase or word, to bring the mind into a state of hyper focus. When you concentrate on a single word, or sound, or syllable... there is a strange but almost magical effect after a while, where all noise disappears, and something very special, and very spiritual comes into focus.
From a spiritual standpoint...
Most practitioners believe that it "opens" a part of the brain that allows purer consciousness to come in. The idea is very simple: Our brains (and bodies) don't generate our sense of selves. It's consciousness itself... which lives in the universe, or spiritual world, that filters in and allows us to have psychic experiences, or spiritual awakenings. The more open your mind is... the more of this world is allowed to enter!
(it's a pretty cool idea that took ME a long while to wrap my head around (no pun intended!) but when I did... I started having crazy cool clairvoyant and spiritual experiences like crazy)

How common are shared NDE's?
Much LESS common than actual near death experiences. As a matter of fact, about 15-20% of all people who have a cardiac arrest and are brought back have an NDE. Only a fraction of people who have an NDE have someone around them who "shares" in the experience.
Are shared experiences more evidential, or more powerful PROOF than just an ordinary NDE?
I say, absolutely. Why? Because if two people, with 2 separate minds, each have a very similar or identical experience, it becomes VERY difficult to explain that away as a hallucination or the product of a dying brain.
There is NO science that can explain how two people can see, smell, taste and travel through the same visual experiences, and if we believe that they are telling the truth, and that there is very little embellishment made, these experiences seem to suggest a REAL "spiritual world" that exists outside of our body's, and can be accessed at the end of life by both the dying, and those who are with the dying as they begin to cross.
What do psychics and mediums believe is happening during these life changing and inspiring experiences?
Truthfully? Most mediums that I have worked with, spoken to or interviewed believe they affirm the reality that the soul, or spirit continues on after physical death. But more importantly, they also provide first hand EVIDENCE that if you love someone, and truly feel that sense of connection to them on an energetic level... you can literally VISIT them in the afterlife dimensions, either while they pass... Good question! The standard definition of a SNDE is the "shared" or mutual experience of dying, often with a close loved one, but where only ONE of the people are actually passing away. The second person is simply sharing in the traditional phenomena associated with the NDE, such as seeing the bright light, experiencing a life review, seeing deceased relatives, et al.
Who came up with the name "shared death experience anyway"?
Ironically, the internationally known doctor Raymond Moody, who also coined the phrase "NDE" years ago, was the first person to write about these events in great detail. (and came up with the "shared" part of the name as well, to add to his coining of the Near Death Experience, which is now used worldwide by skeptics, believers and medical professionals as well)

What is the easiest way to find a medium? Are all psychics mediums? And, are all mediums created equal? The BEST way to find a medium is simple.
1 - It depends a bit on where you live which of these to prioritize first, but every major city has at least one "medium meet up" organization that you can join, and that typically offer meetings every 2 weeks, if not more.
2 - Spiritist (or Spiritualism) Churches are both centered around direct spirit communication, and in most major cities (and some smaller ones) there are free services that you can attend on the weekends, that demonstrate spirit communication. (and in group or galley setting where whoever comes through... comes through!)
Of course NOT all of these organizations are created equal. And there are a lot of flakes, fakes, and even frauds out there as well... although less than the skeptics want you to believe. (when it comes to mediumship, there are more FLAKES than frauds, but you do have to make sure while keeping an open mind, you don't let your brains fall out with some of this stuff!)
